This is the ideal structure for installation. No brick has
to be removed.
Material Removal
Some mailboxes have a row of brick that will have to be
remove before the mailbox door can be installed. This brick can be removed
using a 4" side grinder with a masonry blade. The darkened area of the
diagrams illustrates what is to be cut away. Materials are available at your
local hardware store or building supply.
Installation Problems
This arrangement of the bricks does not allow the mailbox
door to lie flat against the surface. The mailbox door cannot be installed on
this type of structure.
